Japanese plum wine is made with white plums while they are still green and hard. Enjoy the fresh flavour of young plums! It is very refreshing. You can drink it straight like white wine, on the rocks, with soda or water, or even with warm water on a cold night! (Dec, 2007) We have finally come across a draft sake in North America that we can confidently recommend to our customers to drink chilled. Gekkeikan Draft Sake is microfiltered rather than heat pasteurized, leaving a fresh, smooth, fruity flavour to the sake.
